Fire, Ice & Breath
A 3-hour immersive reset w/Deborah Meyers
December 19
2-5PM
Join us for an afternoon that supports physical and emotional release. You’ll alternate between sauna and cold plunge for the first 1 ½ hour — building heat, then meeting the cold. This heat-and-cold cycling creates a powerful flow of energy through the body, priming you for the breathwork to come.
After changing into comfortable clothes, you’ll move into one hour of connected breathwork, a practice designed to quiet the mind and release what's been held in the body. Accompanied by music, connected breathwork helps move you past the "overactive mind" and into your body/heart, guiding you into a deeply relaxed, expanded state.
You'll close the event around the fire — integrating the experience together while snacking and replenishing.
Come ready for a physical and emotional reset. No experience necessary — just an open mind and a willingness to feel.
Bring: swimwear, 2 towels, eye mask, yoga mat, blanket, water bottle/electrolytes, layers for the fire.
3 hours: $65
This experience isn't recommended if you're pregnant. If you have heart disease or another condition that could be affected by sauna, cold plunge, or intensive breathwork, please check with your physician before joining.
RSVP by December 14th. There are just 6 spots!

Traditional Wood-Fired Sauna
Whether you choose to reserve the sauna for a private group or join us for a community sweat, you have access to the sauna, cold plunge and outdoor social area with campfire and hiking trails.
What to bring?
2 towels, one for sitting on and one for drying off (bath towels available for purchase $10/towel).
1-2 quarts of drinking water per person. Arrive hydrated as well.
Snacks or a meal for after the sauna. There is a fire grate for cooking on and heating up food. Bring your own pots, pans and dishes.
Warm clothes for in between cycles and slip on shoes or boots.
Ice- If you have a specific preference for the temperature of your cold plunge, you can regulate this by adding your own ice. The water temp of the cold plunge will be around 60 degrees, give or take, depending on time of year.
There will be a waiver to sign on site, before your sauna experience.
You will have limited to no cell service during your time here on the ridge. It is a great opportunity to disentangle from technology.
When alternating between hot and cold always stay hydrated. Your body can lose a significant amount of fluids, so drink water before, during, and after each session to avoid dehydration.
When it comes to sauna and cold plunge activities, moderation is key for safety and for reaping the full benefits of this therapy.
Listen to your body! Stay in the sauna long enough to feel the benefits, but don't overextend yourself.
For community night we will try to have the cold plunge under 60 degrees. Weather, outside temp and other factors make it difficult for us to be precise in this off gird system.
You may bring ice for a private sauna session to bring the cold plunge down to your desired temperature.
Your ideal cold plunge temperature is the coldest water you can sit in calmly for 2-3 minutes while maintaining controlled breathing—that's your therapeutic threshold.
Your core temperature continues decreasing for 15-30 minutes after exiting cold water as cold blood from extremities returns to your core. Do not drive immediately after a very cold plunge and have warm, dry clothes ready. Rewarming should be passive (dry clothes, moving around) rather than active (sauna) to avoid afterdrop complications.
It is suggested that after you cold plunge you match your rest time to your previous sauna time, so if you were in the sauna 15 minutes, rest for 15 after you cold plunge. This allows your body to return to a neutral temperature, which can reduce dizziness and discomforts associated with overheating. This is a great time to take a walk on the trails!
On the coldest days of winter we may not have the ability to fill the cold plunge, as this is an off grid system. If there’s snow on the ground feel free to make snow angels after your sweat! Whether you tumble in the snow or just allow the cold winter air to cool you, be sure to dry off quickly and put warm clothes on, so your body temperature doesn’t get too low.
