Mindfulness in Nature
Forest Bathing Walk with Michelle Greenfield, registered Yoga Teacher-500 and Kripalu Mindful Outdoor guide.
This gentle, slow paced walk begins with a little bit of movement, breath and centering. Then we take a gentle stroll into the woods, with pauses to breathe and connect with the living world around us. You will be guided with forest bathing invitations and then in finding a “sit spot” for an open eyed, sensory awareness meditation.
There will be 2 walks, one at 10am and one at 11am, each will last approx. 45 minutes. You can have a sweat before or after.
The blocks for morning and evening sauna will have 4-5 seperate sauna sessions. While you wait for your turn in the sauna you can walk the trails, tour our rental cabin and enjoy refreshments by the fire. Bring some cash for raffle and donation for sound bath.
Sound Bath With Kojun
Join Kojun of Sacred Waves Sound Healing for the healing and restorative vibrations of singing bowls, gongs and chimes. Bring a blanket to make yourself comfy during this outdoor woodland sound experience.

Fire, Ice & Breath
A 3-hour immersive reset
September 26
2-5PM
Join us for an afternoon that supports physical and emotional release. You’ll alternate between sauna and cold plunge for the first 1 ½ hour — building heat, then meeting the cold. This heat-and-cold cycling creates a powerful flow of energy through the body, priming you for the breathwork to come.
After changing into comfortable clothes, you’ll move into one hour of connected breathwork, a practice designed to quiet the mind and release what's been held in the body. Accompanied by music, connected breathwork helps move you past the "overactive mind" and into your body/heart, guiding you into a deeply relaxed, expanded state.
You'll close the event around the fire — integrating the experience together while snacking and replenishing.
Come ready for a physical and emotional reset. No experience necessary — just an open mind and a willingness to feel.
Bring: swimwear, 2 towels, eye mask, yoga mat, blanket, water bottle/electrolytes, layers for the fire.
3 hours: $65
This experience isn't recommended if you're pregnant. If you have heart disease or another condition that could be affected by sauna, cold plunge, or intensive breathwork, please check with your physician before joining.
RSVP by September 22. There are just 6 spots!
Traditional Wood-Fired Sauna
Relax and rejuvenate in our hand crafted, cedar lined, wood-fired sauna. Alternate between the sauna, cold plunge tub and socializing by the fire. Take a walk on our woodland trails and enjoy all that nature has to offer.
We are nestled in the forest, on a ridge top, outside of Amesville, in beautiful Southeast Ohio, just 30 minutes from Athens.
Whether you choose to reserve the sauna for a private group or join us for a community sweat, you have access to the sauna, cold plunge and outdoor social area with campfire and hiking trails.
What to bring?
2 towels, one for sitting on and one for drying off (bath towels available for rent for $5/towel).
1-2 quarts of drinking water per person. Arrive hydrated as well.
Snacks or a meal for after the sauna. There is a fire grate for cooking on and heating up food. Bring your own pots, pans and dishes.
Ice- If you have a specific preference for the temperature of your cold plunge, you can regulate this by adding your own ice. The water temp of the cold plunge will be around 60 degrees, give or take, depending on time of year.
There will be a waiver to sign on site, before your sauna experience.
You will have limited to no cell service during your time here on the ridge. It is a great opportunity to disentangle from technology.
Book a private event or join us for a community session!

Afterwards, sit back and enjoy the outdoor fire, make a meal, and connect in a beautiful setting.

Community sweats are 90 minutes (60 minutes of hot sauna time), each individual rotating between sauna, cold plunge and rest by the fire at their own discretion. Bring snacks, take a hike on our woodland trails or socialize by the fire.
Bathing suits required for community sessions. (it is fine if you prefer to wear natural fibers, as long as you are covered as if in a bathing suit)

When alternating between hot and cold always stay hydrated. Your body can lose a significant amount of fluids, so drink water before, during, and after each session to avoid dehydration.
When it comes to sauna and cold plunge activities, moderation is key for safety and for reaping the full benefits of this therapy.
Listen to your body! Stay in the sauna long enough to feel the benefits, but don't overextend yourself.
On the coldest days of winter we may not have the ability to fill the cold plunge, as this is an off grid system. If there’s snow on the ground feel free to make snow angels after your sweat! Whether you tumble in the snow or just allow the cold winter air to cool you, be sure to dry off quickly and put warm clothes on, so your body temperature doesn’t get too low.
Extend your sauna experience with an overnight stay.
We have a beautiful cabin just a short walk away from the sauna area or bring your own tent and camp right on site!
For just $30 extra you can bring your gear and stay overnight after your sauna!
To add this feature to your sauna booking, just let us know when you text to reserve your sauna time!
Want to schedule a special date or time that isn’t listed?
We may have availability to fire up the sauna on a requested time and date, just send us a message with as much notice as possible and we’ll see what we can do!
